THE SUSTAINABILITY FESTIVAL COMES BACK!

SUSTAINABILITY AS COOPERATION

After the success of last year event, it is that time of the year again: from 15th to 17th of May 2025 Kikero brings the Sustainability Festival back at UNIBZ campus and in the city!

This year festival motto is once again “Sustainability as cooperation”: an encouragement to see sustainability not as an individual task but as a shared responsability, because ecological change requires copperation among people, institutions and organizations.

WHY THIS FESTIVAL?

When it comes down to sustainability, resposnability comes immediately to mind: whi has to act – individuals, companies, politicians? This is where the festival comes into the picture: it invites to look at these questions from different perspectives and to answer them together. Through discussions, conferences and creative formats, we aim to engage in dialogue in an open and critic way and with the goal to always learn from one another.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

A varied programm with workshops, conferences, debates, interactive formats and concerts, all revolving around ecological, social and cultural sustainability. From ethical fashion, local foods, climate justice, sustainable mobility to sustainable business, this festival offers inspiration and dialogue to whoever is interested in a more equitable future. Experts and activists, from South-Tyrol and not only, share their knowledge and present their initiatives and work with the purpose to make people think and to engage them.

OFFICIAL PROGRAMM

During all three days, room C4.04 will be opened, which is the MaMa house, with a swap party, a small exposition and stand and an ecological footprint test.

Thursday 15th of May

14:00: “Tote lab: Unique and sustainable bags” – workshop to create and customise tote bags using recycled materials by MaMa.

C4.01 – C3.06, UNIBZ

16:00: Talk on US climate, energy, environmental policy by Shanti Gamper-Rabindran.

Filmclub

19:30: Screening of TIAN: Generation Farmfluencer. Discussion with the director – German with italian subtitles.

Friday 16th of May
